GEORGE SMITH: THE PEOPLE IN QUESTION PLEAD THE FIFTH, WHY????
Two quick thoughts about the missing Ohio woman from the Carnival Cruise:
it's been several days and her name has not been released to the press - why? That can only help Carnival (in keeping further stories out of the press).
Why has Carnival issued press releases about the incident to the media but not posted them on their 'press release' section of the site? Hmmmm
Now, back to George Smith. Some have asked who's potentially involved. The circle is wide, but here's the short list:
Three Russian-Jews in their early 20s who are naturalized American citizens living in Brooklyn (two in Brooklyn, one elsewhere)
Rostislav "Rusty" Kofman (cousin of brothers Greg and Zach Rozenberg)
Greg Rozenberg
Zach Rozenberg
Josh Askin, 20, of southern California
(at least these two) crew members: Lloyd B. and Christian M.
WHY DID THEY PLEAD THE FIFTH WHEN QUESTIONED BY A GRAND JURY?
And that's not to mention Jennifer.

My speculations - not sure if anyone agrees with me:
Its a little funny that four 20 year olds on a cruise ship were so interested in a newly wed couple. I think Josh Askin, Rostislav "Rusty" Kofman, Greg Rozenberg, Zach Rozenberg escorted George to his room, put to him to bed and then went to their rooms, banged his wife Jennifer Hagel, whether she was "drugged" up or by her own choice. They came back to George's room with her, to check to see if he was asleep (4am). He wasn't, a scuffle then incurs, and George is thrown off the side of the balcony. Jennifer is conveniently no where to be seen, continuing to omit her whereabouts - while her husband's dead body floats in the mediterranean.
I believe Josh Askin to be unconvincing, listening to his answers to the Turkish police, in the presence of his parents. He sounds like a child with something to hide, and passing the blame off to the Casino manager...
Obviously I wasn't present when this occurred and I am assuming a sequence of events based upon the reports of rape involving this group. Where there is smoke there is often fire as they say. I think it is more consistent with the M.O. of the gang rapist's to have drugged Jennifer and George. The "drinking game" heard by passengers was really the creeps cheering each other on in a gang rape which awakened the drugged and very large George. He tried to defend jennifer but was no match for the sober rapist creeps who then killed him (the witness) then deposited Jennifer to sleep off the drugging elsewhere. I believe in the other rape report where these same men filmed their victim that they had drugged her as well (as was reported). What better kick for a group of degenerates to film a gang rape of a honeymooning couple. From Andrew Luster down this not an uncommon crime. It happens on high school campuses, college campuses, etc. More than anyone would like to believe. There are an alarming number of sociopaths running around out there. Gang rape is a crime of intimidation and posturing amongst the assailants that is actually very common and would account for the "egging on" sounds perceived as a drinking game. If you put hidden video in random fraternity houses this would not be an uncommon occurrence whether premeditated (through drugging) or a crime of opportunity. I attended one of the best universities in this country and have witnessed people you would never think to perpetrate one of these crimes casually do so without impunity. I have also seen countless women violated when under the influence or completely sober. It is a sad commentary on our society and I think people need to lighten up on blaming Jennifer. There is a very good chance she was seriously drugged and seriously traumatized. Look to the behavior of the boys with the camera. The other rape incident was reported before the Smith's incident and the cruise line did nothing to stop this.
May be WAY off base, HOWEVER, may look at ALL angles! Are ANY of the Russians, or the Askin guy gay, by any chance? Smith was a handsome dude, and the guy in the cabin next door DID say that he thinks he only saw THREE guys leave Smith's cabin that night. Maybe a "gay" one stayed behind, and ATTEMPTED sex with Smith, PLUS tried to find money: Smith wasn't as "out" as he thought, and he killed him. Just a thought!
